The event brought togetherimplementing and funding partners from Nepal, India, Bangladesh, Malawi,Uganda, Australia, and Canada to formally launch this multi-country healthinitiative.
Representatives from OpportunityInternational Australia, Opportunity International Canada, Global AffairsCanada | Affaires mondiales Canada (GAC), and implementing partners from Nepal(Nirdhan Development and Microfinance and Jeevan Bikas Samaj), India (CDOT andESAF Foundation), and Bangladesh (BURO Bangladesh) participated in strategicdiscussions on project governance, localized implementation strategies, andcommunity health solutions. BURO Bangladesh was represented by Sirajul Islam,Director – Special Programs, along with senior officials.
The summit concluded with a fieldvisit to BRAC-operated project sites in Manikganj, offering practical insightsinto community-level health interventions.
This three-day summit marks avital step forward in advancing sustainable, locally driven health outcomesacross borders, strengthening efforts toward healthy families and resilientcommunities.
