Graham A. N. Wright: A Golden Figure in BURO’s Golden Journey

From its formative years to its current phase oftransformation, BURO Bangladesh has been fortunate to have Graham A. N. Wrightas a sincere friend and collaborator. To honor his outstanding contributions,BURO Bangladesh organized the "Graham A. N. Wright Reunion" onDecember 25–26 at the BURO Institute of Innovation and Development in Tangail.
The event rekindled a remarkable 35-year partnership, withMr. Wright—Advisor to BURO Bangladesh and Founder & Group Managing Directorof MicroSave Consulting—joining the celebrations in person. As part of theprogram, he visited BURO’s five original model branches established during theorganization's inception. In recognition of his legacy, a hall at the BUROInstitute of Innovation and Development in Tangail was officially inauguratedand named after him.
The event was attended by founding and current members ofBURO Bangladesh, as well as distinguished members of the Board of Directors.During his remarks, Mr. Wright reflected on his journey with BURO, while boardmembers and early associates shared their own insights and experiences, addingdepth and significance to the occasion.
A major highlight of the program was the launchof the 32nd issue of Prottoy. This edition features the inspiring storyof BURO’s evolution—from BURO Tangail to BURO Bangladesh—and included apresentation highlighting key content from the publication.
